The day should feel like yours.

You want beautiful photographs. But not at the expense of actually enjoying your wedding.

You care about the feeling of the day… the people, the atmosphere, the moments you’ll want to remember long after it’s over.

You want to feel relaxed in front of the camera. Present with your guests. Fully yourselves.

Not rushed through endless posing or pulled away from the people you love. Just a wedding that feels warm, personal and true to you… with photography that quietly captures it as it naturally unfolds.

That’s exactly how I approach weddings.

A calm, people-first approach to modern wedding photography

Hi, I’m Elis

I photograph weddings for couples who care deeply about the people, atmosphere, and feeling of the day… and want to be present for it.

My role is simple: help you feel comfortable, stay relaxed, and quietly capture what matters most while you get on with living it.

That means a calm, lightly guided approach when needed… natural portraits that never feel over-directed, and a focus on the people, moments, and atmosphere that make the day yours.

The big moments, the quiet moments, the in-between moments you didn’t even notice happening.

Warm, natural photography that feels honest, personal, and true to the day you actually had.

A newlywed couple walking hand in hand on a rainy street, smiling. The woman wears a white wedding dress with a veil and holds a bouquet. The man wears a dark suit with a light-colored tie. There are bicycles on the sidewalk and a building with a black door and a shop window in the background.
“He was so unobtrusive, it just felt like he was another friend there on the day. He made us feel at ease and totally supported, and made us confident to trust him with capturing the day so that we could just enjoy it and focus on being present...

And the photos themselves, wow. They are a total joy, a real reflection of the feel of the day we'd worked so hard to plan.”

Your experience matters as much as the photographs.

Your wedding isn’t a photoshoot.

It’s one of the few days in life where everyone you love is together in one place… full of energy, emotion, anticipation, joy, and moments you’ll never quite recreate again.

The photographs matter. But so does actually living it.

The best images happen when you feel relaxed, connected, and fully in the moment… when there’s space to laugh, breathe, be with your people, and let the day unfold naturally.

And years later, those are often the photographs that mean the most.

Not just because of how they looked. But because of how they bring you back to what it felt like to be there.
